John Boorman

He was born on 18 January 1933 , London, England. Although his family is not Roman Catholic, he  attended to a Catholic school. He began his career working in BBC. Later he became an assistant director and followed by a documentary director. He then had a chance to work in Hollywood. His early films are Point Blank (1967) and Hell in the Pacific (1968))

He returned to UK and continued marking films such as Leo the Last (1970), Zardoz (1974).

His famous works are

Excalibur (1981)

The Emerald Forest (1985)

Hope and Glory (1987)

Deliverance (1972)
