He was born on 5 July 1889, Maisons-Lafitte, Yvelines, lle-de-France, France . He is one of the most talented artist of the 20th century. He was a painter, poet, novelist, set designer, playwright, actor and filmmaker. At the age of ten, he bagman writing poet and his works was first published when he was sixteen. His films always have a sense of poetry in them. He was a homosexual and he was opened about it. In his films, he always casted his close friend, Jean Marais. He produced overall twelve films in his life which all presented in surrealism and symbolism style.
